It's funny you say that, ever since I wrote that line I keep hearing bits of Third Stone from the Sun in my head, the bass line and "never hear surf music again ..."

Have you heard the recordings of the Martian wind, by the way? Somehow, tho they are so technically processed and messed with to become audible to humans, they sound really COLD to me.
