Mes amis, dear hearts everyone, tomorrow beginneth a jaunt o'er the Atlantic, which will terminate back on the left coast (where "it's all good, from Diego to the Bay ...") 1 Nov. I will be visiting Alan B (Nottingham), Dave S/Maria F (Oxford), Ernesto P (London), Ivy A (Bath), Jillian S (London) ... and will be checking email as often as I can. But I will probably not be posting much, tho I have been known to post from a bar in Malaga, so who knows?? If anyone will be at the London Small Press Fair, hope to meetcha. Kiss noise. Mwah!

The Secret Life of an Angel: Girl Singing in a Word Cloud

AutopoIetic recursion. [7] I normalized the whole thing to get rid of unwanted peaks. [8] For that which can sing notes … [9] a lengthening amen blue capstone shadow / despite my aptitude for blotters creased skipping away. [10]

Deuces Wild, Like An Only Child, [11] “invented non-semantic language text”. [12] Two Hands Angel. [13] Close, there, in color of absence. [14] This is a fallen angel speaking, seduced by the chant of a beautiful girl. [15]

The Winter of Shrieking Electric Guitars, [23] Raisined boss / of grey days grasps for everlasting … [24] Like water, the earth’s crust, mental illness, and knowledge, where is the true red, yellow, or blue? Who’s Afraid of Nouns, Verbs, and Adjectives? I don’t know what the sound of a 25-mile ice shelf detaching into the Arctic Ocean after 3,000 years sounds like, but I walk out into the night with that seemingly impossible sound in my head. Even the cracks in the ground cast long sharp shadows. We live through it the way aphids traverse a rose … By itself, the skin takes on consciousness ... [25] It is not only that there is more variation: the text itself changes depending on how closely we are looking at it. [26]

Compliant enough to include everything? What good am I if I’m not a fish? / A loaf of bread? [27] “Actually, it’s a peninsula” … I found your button. / Welcome. [28] And as to laughter, if you allow it in one place (Sixties hagiography) … Like blank paper, I guess …

a skinglyph will take a little longer to fade. I will get to watch over the years as “our old friends the wind and rain” transform my middle aged skin into “all / Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know” - if I’m lucky, which I hope to be. Hello, spider crawling at my feet! [29] Boy grunting, I suggest. Night?

Do you know Girl – the one
who winter reaches for
with a lengthening shadow?

She has shown up in many disguises,
sun dimming while you watched.
“It’s a glorious into the face ride,”

she whispered of the welcome.
“Angel is a game of of light
I have lost. I risked everything.”

Beware this angel of light’s spell
for you cannot change the angle.
The angel is my secret demon.

Death to those life changing
moments of final farewell,
cobalt day of annunciation!

Note to self: get this parody.
I no longer wish to play.
Welcome to the exterminating angel

but beware: Girl is singing.
Wings unfurl to make me rise.
On the day of annunciation,

heaven showed up nearer than a breath.
Do you know an angel?
I lost myself in her startup lips of evil.
